Celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival Together
On September 18, our school hosted a warm and joyful Mid-Autumn Festival celebration themed “One Moon, One Family.” Students, teachers, and parents came together to enjoy an evening filled with music, laughter, traditional culture, and precious family moments.
A Campus Filled with Festive Spirit
Before the celebration, teachers and students worked together to decorate the campus with colorful lanterns and traditional Mid-Autumn Festival elements, including the moon and the Rabbit. The decorations created a warm and festive atmosphere throughout the school.
One of the most heartwarming touches was the collection of handwritten Mid-Autumn wish cards from our teachers. Displayed around the campus, the cards carried messages of love and encouragement, reminding every child that they are cared for and supported.
Young Performers Shine on Stage
At 4:30 pm, the celebration officially began with the teachers’ performance of “A Family That Loves One Another.” The warm singing reflected the strong bonds within our school community and brought the theme of togetherness to life. The principal Mr Ang shared heartfelt wishes for the festival and for all our students. Young performers from K1, K2, and Year 1-2 followed with a wonderful selection of songs and dances. Their joyful and energetic performances filled the evening with laughter and applause, while proud parents captured these special moments.
Lanterns, Food and Festive Fun
After the performances, families enjoyed a variety of games, traditional activities, and food booths. As night fell, colorful lanterns lit up the campus. Students took part in lantern riddles and mooncake making, while enjoying mooncakes and delicious snacks with their friends and families.
Fireworks Light Up the Night
At 6:50 pm, the much-anticipated fireworks display lit up the sky above the school field. Bursts of gold, red, and purple filled the night sky, bringing excitement and wonder to everyone. Cheers and applause marked a spectacular finale to the celebration.
The dazzling fireworks also symbolized the bright future ahead for our children. May every child find their own path, pursue their dreams with courage, and shine with their own unique light.
Under One Moon, Together as One Family
Under the same moon, we celebrated the Mid-Autumn Festival and experienced the warmth of the NH family. From handwritten wishes and joyful performances to lanterns, traditional activities, and fireworks, every moment became a treasured school memory.
May the moonlight illuminate our children’s journey of growth, learning, and dreams, and may the warmth of togetherness remain in every heart.
