NationalHigh Jakarta School (NHJS) is offering the Cambridge AS/A Level 9093 English Language in the upcoming AY 2024–2025. This addition to the curriculum marks a significant step in the school’s continued commitment to providing quality teaching-learning experiences for students in an increasingly globalised world.

The Cambridge AS/A Level 9093 English Language qualification is renowned worldwide for its rigorous assessment of language proficiency, critical thinking, communication and research skills. NHJS aims to expose students to various linguistic and analytical challenges needed to thrive in a myriad of academic and professional contexts. The Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) AS Level 9093 English Language provides learners with opportunities to make critical and informed responses to a wide range of texts. Learners will also demonstrate their ability to produce writing for specific briefs and for given audiences. For the A Level, learners will also develop a strong foundation in the study of linguistics, focusing on language change, child language acquisition, English in the world and language and the self.

In addition to preparing students for further academic rigour at top universities both locally and internationally, the 9093 English Language qualification opens doors to a wide range of university entry requirements and possible transfer of credits for certain marks earned from the AS/A Level Examinations. Moreover, it can suffice IELTS/TOEFL requirements for both visa and university admissions to various countries, including the US, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, among others (For details information please see at the Bi Weekly Bulletin edition 17 – 30 May 2024)
