A Prefectorial Board in a primary school is a group of selected students, typically appointed by the school, who take on leadership and responsibility roles to assist in the smooth running of the school. Prefects, as these students are called, are often chosen for their exemplary behavior, leadership qualities, and ability to serve as role models for their peers.
PREFECTORIAL BOARD ELIGIBILITY
• Students from Year 3 to Year 7 are eligible to be members of the prefectorial board.
• Previous prefects are still eligible to join the board.
• Should have a satisfactory record of conduct in school.
• Students should possess leadership potential or have demonstrated a capacity for student leadership.
• Students who are willing to render service to the school and are willing to work beyond school hours when necessary.
