NH Lions Cup 2026: Unleashing the Pride of the Lions

From 29 September to 3 October 2026, the Student Council proudly hosted the annual NH Lions Cup, bringing together hundreds of participants over five days of competition. With this year’s theme centred around the Lions, the event celebrated courage, teamwork, determination, and school spirit. The tournament was organised by Committee 2 of the Student Council. The
event opened with a ceremony on the first day and concluded with a memorable closing ceremony.
From the beginning of the competition, the atmosphere was full of excitement. Students, teachers, athletes, supporters, organisers, and the wider school community all came together to make the Lions Cup a memorable event. The energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved showed just how special this tournament is to our school community.
The competition featured impressive performances, and NHJS had plenty to celebrate. Our teams and athletes showed great determination across soccer, basketball, volleyball, and swimming, achieving impressive results throughout the tournament.

These achievements show the hard work and dedication of our athletes. However, the Lions Cup was about more than simply winning medals. It was also about encouraging one another, building friendships, representing NHJS with pride, and learning how to work together as a team.
The success of the event would not have been possible without the organisers, teachers, officials, volunteers, Committee 2, student committees, and everyone working behind the scenes. Their dedication helped create an exciting and enjoyable experience for the hundreds of participants who took part each day.
The NH Lions Cup 2026 was proudly supported by Fruit Tea Sosro, Golden Rama, CIMB Niaga, Cipta Mandiri, United Bikes, Lontoh and Partners, and Pure Kids. Their support played an important role in helping make this year’s event possible.
More than just a sporting competition, the Lions Cup brought the NHJS community together over five days. Every cheer from the sidelines, every team huddle, every medal, and every moment of competition contributed to an unforgettable experience.
“Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” — Helen Keller
As the Lions Cup came to an end, NHJS could look back with plenty of pride. Our athletes competed with determination, our teams supported one another, and our community came together to make the event a success.
